The best club ever.

there%26#039;s an association called Just People that%26#039;s basically that. There people with mental disabilities that work and live just like everyone else. Maybe you could contact them and make your club kinda like a branch of it??
Reply:My kids at school make and sell different things and they always think up different names for their %26quot;stores%26quot; based on the time of the year.

In December they sold Christmas ornaments they had made and called it the Busy Elf%26#039;s Workshop. We%26#039;re going to do something for Valentine%26#039;s Day and I think they voted to call it Cupid%26#039;s Cookies.

One time we called it School, Inc. so it was like a business. You can also use your school%26#039;s name or mascot. Scorpions Corporation, or Tigers, Inc., or Bear%26#039;s Boutique.

There is a group for students with disabilities and their same age peers who befriend and mentor them, Best Buddies.

I think it%26#039;s important for the kids to have a say in it, as long as their suggestions are appropriate. Depending on how many kids are in it, maybe you can take the first letter of each of their names and arrange them into a word, or use the sponsoring teacher%26#039;s name as part of the club name, Smith%26#039;s School Store.

You could also make it a schoolwide contest to name the club, which would bring you publicity and advertisment and help the school get to know your kids.

This is also a good time to have a business owner come in and talk to the kids about why you choose a certain name and how it impacts the business as well as good business practices.

Good luck!
