Good websites for contemporary DIY apartment decor and crafts?

Hey all... I just moved into an apartment with way more wall and floor space than I%26#039;m used to. I want to make some inexpensive decor to give the place some character (along with scouring the local thrift stores). Somewhat kitschy yet contemporary/urban is good, but I want stuff to look fairly nice too - I%26#039;m nearing 30 and posters tacked to the wall just don%26#039;t do it anymore.





Screen printed canvasses, interesting homemade lampshades, dried flower arrangements, etc, are the kind of things I%26#039;m looking for. Stuff that requires a little work and an eye for design but doesn%26#039;t necessarily need massive artistic inspiration. Can anyone recommend good websites with how-tos on DIY apartment decor projects like these?
